We're looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our team. As a PHP Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies. This role involves writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining PHP-based web applications and websites.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving software bugs and performance issues.
  • Collaborating with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to implement new features and solutions.
  • Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Optimizing application performance and scalability, ensuring seamless user experience.
  • Developing and maintaining databases, writing and optimizing SQL queries, and ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Staying updated with the latest PHP, web development trends, and technologies to continuously improve the development process.
  • Implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with industry standards to protect applications from vulnerabilities.

You will be responsible for producing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including API documentation and deployment notes.

To succeed in this position, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in PHP and WordPress Development.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proficiency in PHP, including experience with frameworks such as WordPress or Laravel.
  • A strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for seamless integration of user-facing elements.
  • Experience with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL, and ability to write efficient SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
  • A solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in writing scalable and maintainable code.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and the ability to implement security and data protection measures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
