Senior Web Development Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer to join our Global Business and Technologies team in India. This exciting opportunity involves developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using various technologies such as Python, Django, PHP, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Ajax.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing REST APIs for mobile and web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of projects. Additionally, the role involves implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, certificate creation, validation, and API integration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications
  • Developing and managing RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success
  • Implementing robust security measures and ensuring data integrity
  • Managing databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Providing support for production issues and optimizing system performance

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Over 3-4 years of experience in web application development and maintenance
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems and software development methodologies
