Business Development Collections Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Collections Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities, managing a team of collectors, and ensuring the achievement of disbursement targets with minimal delinquency.

  • Identify Joint liability Groups & disbursed loans to suit target customers and geographies.
  • Develop and manage teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.
  • Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas & opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.
  • Manage disbursements, repayments, and delinquency, achieving daily/weekly collections targets.
  • Monitor and follow up on disbursed loans, especially those not paying on time.
  • Undertake regular field visits, centre meetings, and loan applicant engagement.
  • Maintain portfolio quality by tracking and controlling normal dues, nonstarters, delinquency, and frauds.
  • Build strong client relationships both internally and externally and establish a strong brand identity with potential customers.
  • Ensure weekly/daily meetings and visits to centres.

This role requires a fresher to maximum rs exp + experience as a sales officer in microfinance business. Basic understanding of Microfinance business and JLG model working is preferred.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relationship management and business sourcing.
  • Flair for sales.
  • Understanding of critical attributes of customer service.
