
Industrial Process Improvement Specialist

About the Role:
- To identify and deliver service improvement activities across the business by employing process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking.
- Work with key business stakeholders and the Centre of Excellence to build a continuous improvement environment supporting manufacturing transformation, leading WCM practices, and facilitating change initiatives from inception to delivery.
- Support better value and efficiency through eliminating unnecessary complexity in business processes and identifying better ways of working.
- Assist in developing and implementing a best-in-class continuous improvement strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement a standard world-class manufacturing framework across pan-India plants.
- Collaborate with team members and business services departments to devise new support materials based on revised processes, including training, reporting, and systems enhancements.
- Monitor project risks, foresee potential problems, and proactively identify solutions.
- Evaluate business impact and project objectives/dependencies, reporting and managing them at all times.
- Establish a program, provide coaching, and run projects across plants.
- Complete post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery and improve future projects.
- Improve efficiency KPIs in manufacturing sites.
- Implement lean methods for increased efficiency, throughput, and operational excellence.
- Take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls.
- Support plant teams in benchmarking, problem-solving, and continuous improvement programs.
- Support operations in policy deployment, cascading KPIs, and KRAs at all business levels.
- Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
- Ensure ongoing learning and development of employees in Lean improvement tools and communication methods.
- Coach and facilitate teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- Manage cross-functional team members and interact professionally with partners, senior managers, and subject matter experts.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- A good honors degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- An excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts, including Six Sigma, Lean, and value stream mapping.
- Strong analytical, project, and product management skills.
- The ability to set up, facilitate, and lead service improvement/workshops with business stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
