Job Title: Retail Systems Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Retail Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in retail technology, specifically Oracle XStore 21 software.

">About the Role">
  • ">
  • The system analyst will analyze business requirements and design technical solutions for the Point of Sale (POS) application.">
  • The individual will work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of the POS application with our omni-channel systems.">
  • The system analyst will also be responsible for ensuring production data accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness.">
">Key Responsibilities">
  • ">
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the POS application.">
  • Build business cases, including cost/benefit analysis, for strategic initiatives and special projects.">
  • Ensure production data accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness for guest and employee profiles, transactions, etc.">
  • Build and optimize monitoring and alerting capabilities across multiple integrations, not limited to POS.">
  • Automate report generation in Power BI, Splunk, etc., to get meaningful KPIs.">
  • Understand the architecture of applications and the technology stack to recommend appropriate strategies to ensure SLAs are met.">
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, QA testers, and IT support staff.">
  • Analyze real/actual data for business reporting, project decision-making, and production issues troubleshooting.">
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.">
">Qualifications">
  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.">
  • 7+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development, with a focus on POS applications.">
  • Proficiency in Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL.">
  • Strong experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and Terraform.">
  • Familiarity with modern development frameworks and languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.">
  • Knowledge of POS hardware and software integration. XStore POS-related experience is a significant asset.">
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.">
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.">
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
  • Relevant certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.">
