Job Overview

We seek an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead our organization's financial planning, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

About the Role

This position requires strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GAAP/IFRS compliance and taxation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective financial plans, forecasts, and budgets for client portfolios.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide actionable insights on revenue growth, profitability, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks, including GAAP/IFRS.
  • Oversee audits, statutory filings, tax planning, and reporting accuracy.
  • Monitor financial risk, implement controls, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team, investors, and external auditors to drive strategic decisions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, presenting financial performance updates to the board.
  • Build relationships across departments to support operational efficiency.
  • Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and working capital effectively.
  • Lead monthly/quarterly closing processes and consolidation reporting.
  • Oversee treasury management, cash flow forecasting, and investment analysis.
  • Drive adoption of finance technology tools to streamline financial reporting and compliance.
  • Implement automation initiatives to improve financial processes and analytics.
  • Leverage data to provide real-time dashboards and performance tracking.
  • Mentor and lead a distributed finance team to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Develop scalable finance processes to support future business growth.

Requirements:

  • CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent qualification.
  • 7–10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting practices, GAAP/IFRS compliance, and taxation.
  • Proven experience in Fintech, Financial Services, or Consulting preferred.
  • Hands-on expertise with Xero, Dext, Power BI, or similar financial tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
