Job Title: User Experience Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Experience (UX) specialist to join our design team.

  • Lead a team of designers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with business objectives and provide an exceptional user journey.
  • Conceptualize, design, and deliver solutions for various digital delivery platforms including web, mobile, and tablet platforms.
  • Create intuitive and visually stunning user interfaces.
  • Have a strong track record of leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience in designing international standard websites and mobile apps.
  • Knowledge of UX processes.
  • Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
  • Design Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of UX designers, providing guidance and expertise to deliver world-class user interfaces.
  • User-Centred Design: Drive user-centred design processes, including user research, usability testing, and persona development to inform design decisions.
  • Design Strategy: Develop and execute a cohesive design strategy that aligns with client project vision and business objectives.
  • Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain design quality and consistency across all platforms, ensuring a high level of user satisfaction.
  • Communication: Clearly articulate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, promoting a deep understanding of design decisions.
  • Stay Current: Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in UX.

Requirements:

  • Any degree or Diploma in UX design, graphic design, or a related field is a plus.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring design teams.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present and justify design decisions effectively.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for pixel-perfect designs.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
