Vaccine R&D Leadership Opportunity
About the RoleThis is a leadership position that involves spearheading large-scale vaccine R&D programs.
The role requires strategic leadership, scientific oversight, and team management skills to drive innovation and product development.
The successful candidate will have expertise in viral and bacterial vaccines, with a strong grasp of emerging science trends and technical aspects of clinical testing.
They will also have proven leadership ability and a PhD with ownership of patents or high-impact publications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the R&D strategy aligned with corporate vision and market needs.
- Lead long-term innovation and product development roadmap.
- Identify new technologies, partnerships, and platforms to strengthen the R&D pipeline.
- Supervise discovery, preclinical, and/or clinical research programs.
- Ensure scientific rigor and regulatory compliance across all projects.
- Drive IP strategy and oversee patent filings in collaboration with legal teams.
- Build, mentor, and manage multidisciplinary R&D teams.
- Oversee project prioritization, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
- Cross-functional collaboration with business development, manufacturing, marketing, and clinical operations.
- PhD in animal health R&D or human health with viral vaccine/polysaccharide conjugate vaccine experience.
- Expertise in viral and bacterial vaccines.
- Strong analytical understanding and familiarity with technical aspects of clinical testing.
- Proven leadership ability.
