Storage Expert Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Storage Expert to manage the day-to-day administration of SAN and storage environments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Manage infrastructure events, including capacity management, monitoring storage subsystem and SAN switch capacity, and performing capacity analysis.
  • • Diagnose and resolve problems, including preliminary problem diagnosis and documentation, coordinating with support teams, and performing necessary storage infrastructure maintenance.
  • • Oversee the design, installation, configuration, and de-provisioning of storage solutions, as well as performance management for SAN and storage.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience handling majority of activities mentioned in the scope, including experience with Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure, strong verbal and written communication skills, and technical certification is desirable.

Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with Hitachi Mid-Range and Enterprise storages operations support.
  • Zoning via CISCO SAN Switches.
  • Storage replication technologies like GAD, HUR, True Copy, Local Replication etc.
  • Monitoring tools like OPS Center Analyser, Hi-Track.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
Skill Requirements:
  • 8 years+ experience in handling majority of activities mentioned in the scope above.
  • Experience in handling Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure.
  • Exposure to Operations and Management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), Unified compute platforms, various Host O/S including basic cluster management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Technical certification is desirable.
