Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to lead our IT category team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of all types of IT hardware, software, and related services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate with suppliers. They will also have experience in managing budgets, tracking expenses, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership role within our organization, requiring a high degree of autonomy and strategic thinking. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute category strategies to drive cost savings and improve quality
  • Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation of contracts and terms
  • Oversee the procurement of IT hardware, software, and related services
  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Masters' degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an IT-related field
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving quality
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
