Job Title: Control M Automation Specialist

As a skilled Control M automation specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing, modifying, and deploying control jobs based on program requirements. Collaborating with requesters to clarify and gather complete job specifications is essential. Using scripting languages like PowerShell and Python to handle complex job logic, performing unit testing, and providing QA support are critical aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, modify, and deploy control jobs for smooth workflow execution.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand job specifications and provide timely solutions.
  • Design and implement automation scripts using PowerShell and Python for efficient job processing.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing and ensure high-quality output.
  • Manage production deployments, including 24/7 support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to control workflows efficiently.
  • Review and deploy jobs created by developers in lower environments.
  • Collaborate with the development team to enhance job improvements and server migration-related modifications.
  • Integrate AWS Glue and AWS S3 for automated file transfers and job scheduling.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in developing and scheduling control jobs.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and Python scripting is mandatory.
  • Experience in OS-level job automation, file transfer automation, and Informatica job handling.
  • Familiarity with AWS Glue job invocation and AWS S3 file upload/download is required.
  • Able to independently troubleshoot workflow and deployment issues.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical teams.
