Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer

\

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems.

\Key Responsibilities:\

  • Design and develop high-quality backend systems using Java, Python, or other programming languages.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.\
  • Develop and maintain APIs, services, and microservices.\
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of backend systems.\
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.\
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical decisions.\
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and functionalities.\
  • Work collaboratively with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of backend systems.\
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.\
  • Provide input on technical roadmaps and strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on system design, development, and maintenance.\
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or other programming languages.\
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.\
  • Knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.\
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.\
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.\
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.\
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.\
  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.\
  • Knowledge of security protocols and best practices.
