Senior Backend Engineer

We're building the next-generation communications analytics and automation platform—one that fuses deep telemetry, enterprise-scale voice/calling data, and AI-driven remediation.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll play a core role in designing the resilient, scalable backend of a high-visibility platform that already drives action across global Microsoft Teams deployments.

This isn't a maintenance gig.

This is architecture, orchestration, and ownership.

You'll help design microservices, implement scalable APIs, and ensure data flows seamlessly from complex real-time systems (like call quality diagnostics and device telemetry) into actionable intelligence and automation pipelines.

What You'll Work On Platform Engineering (Core Backend)Design and implement robust, cloud-native services using modern backend stacks (Node.js, Python,.

NET Core, or similar).

Build scalable APIs to surface data and actions across Teams Core IQ modules (call analytics, device insights, policy management, AI-based RCA).

Integrate with Microsoft Graph APIs and Teams Calling infrastructure (Auto Attendants, Call Queues, Call Quality, Presence, Policies).

Develop event-driven workflows using queues (Service Bus, Kafka, Rabbit MQ) for high-throughput ingestion and action pipelines.

Work with real-time data stores, telemetry ingestion, and time-series analytics backends (Postgre SQL, Mongo DB, Influx DB, or equivalent).

Infrastructure & Dev Ops Support Help scale and secure workloads using Azure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops).

Implement observability practices—logging, metrics, alerting—for zero-downtime insights and RCA.

Future-Forward (Agentic Track)Support the evolution of the backend toward intelligent agent orchestration: Build services that allow modular "agents" to retrieve, infer, and act (e.g.

provisioning, remediation, escalation).

Explore interfaces for integrating Open AI, Azure AI, or RAG pipelines to make automation contextual and proactive.

What You Bring Must-Have Technical Skills2+ years backend engineering experience with production-grade systems.

Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Node.js, Python, Go, or.

NET Core).
Deep understanding of RESTful API design, Graph QL is a bonus.

Experience building cloud-native apps on Azure (preferred), AWS or GCP.

Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem: Graph API, Teams, Entra ID (AAD), SIP/Vo IP call data a big plus.

Experience with relational and No SQL databases; data modeling and performance tuning.

Bonus (Not Mandatory, but Highly Valued)Exposure to AI/ML pipelines, Lang Chain, Open AI API, or vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate).

Background in observability, root-cause analysis systems, or voice analytics.

Experience with policy engines, RBAC, and multi-tenant Saa S platforms.
