India Finance Operations Lead

Finance Leadership Opportunity:
">We are seeking an experienced Finance professional to oversee the day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and local compliance for our India entity.
">About This Role:
">- This position reports to the Corporate Controller based in the US.
- The ideal candidate will have expertise in finance operations, including management of cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- A key aspect of this role is the development and maintenance of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Candidates must also be comfortable working with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities:
">- Owning the monthly close process for India, including coordination of all closing activities, preparation and review of journal entries.
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintaining effective relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies.
What You'll Need:
">- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance operations, preferably in an international environment.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
