Job Overview

As a technical leader, you will provide strategic direction for manufacturing product design and manufacturing in an area of expertise.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve manufacturing processes through the application of technical expertise and leadership skills.

  • Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
  • Resolve manufacturing problems and develop procedures and processes for manufacturing facilities.
  • Conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts, equipment automation technology, and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes.
  • Communicate technical solutions for areas of competence both to other engineers and to business personnel.
  • Work with engineering team(s) to develop final product solution for chosen architecture within time and cost constraints.
  • Evaluate and select most cost-effective manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Provide input on equipment purchases to ensure they are technically suitable for the purpose intended and consistent with production plans and needs.
