Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Radio Access Network Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive tests and validations of 5G RAN functionalities.

This individual must be able to define wireless coverage requirements, select radio solutions based on project needs, analyze and mitigate RAN network interference, perform dimensioning, link budget analysis, and coverage planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Description
  1. Conduct comprehensive tests and validations of 5G RAN functionalities to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
  2. Define wireless coverage requirements and select radio solutions based on project needs.
  3. Analyze and mitigate RAN network interference, perform dimensioning, link budget analysis, and coverage planning.
  4. Understand spectrum requirements and assist customers in procuring private 5G spectrum.
  5. Prepare bills of material and quantity as per project requirements and help customers raise purchase orders.
  6. Stay up-to-date on various OEM solutions and showcase product and solution offerings that meet customer business challenges and requirements.
  7. Prepare technical proposals responses for tenders and requests for proposals involving private mobile networks.

Professional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing wireless communication networks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications protocols and standards.
