Expert Kafka Administrator

We are seeking a highly experienced expert to manage large-scale Kafka clusters.

Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and managing Kafka installations both on-premises and in the cloud.

The primary objective is to ensure security, availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of Kafka clusters while performing upgrades, patches, and disaster recovery planning.

Mission-critical responsibilities also include monitoring performance, collecting metrics, and optimizing configurations. Additionally, you will automate Kafka cluster installations, topic/ACL/connector deployments, and collaborate with developers to provide expertise.

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 2.5 years of experience in Kafka administration, with a strong understanding of Confluent & AWS MSK. You must also possess excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Bonus points for experience with IBM MQ / RabbitMQ, knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, or ServiceNow. Must be able to maintain documentation, SOPs, and best practices while working closely with cross-functional teams.
