Key Data Engineering Position

MacroHire is hiring an experienced professional to oversee the design and architecture of Microsoft Fabric solutions. As a data engineer, you will lead the development of scalable and secure data solutions that cater to the needs of our business stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Microsoft Fabric architectures that integrate seamlessly with Power BI, Synapse, Data Factory, and other Azure services.
  • Manage and oversee a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts to ensure timely delivery of high-quality data solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, translate them into technical designs, and develop effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and Microsoft Fabric features to recommend improvements and optimize existing solutions.
  • Develop and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies using Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Real-Time Analytics.
  • Establish robust data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within Microsoft Fabric to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Optimize data pipelines and queries for improved performance and cost efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • At least 9 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 5 years in Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse) and at least 1 year in MS Fabric projects.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance principles.
