Senior Finance Director Job Description

We are a dynamic investment firm seeking a seasoned Senior Finance Director to drive strategic growth and financial excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering accurate financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cost optimization in high-growth environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
    • Develop and implement comprehensive FP&A processes to guide business decisions.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
    • Provide actionable insights to inform strategic investments and divestments.
  • Financial Management & Control
    • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Manage financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes to optimize resource allocation.
    • Implement effective budget control mechanisms across the firm and portfolio companies.
  • Negotiations & Contract Oversight
    • Develop and execute negotiation strategies to secure favorable deal terms.
    • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and employees through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture to promote knowledge sharing and innovation.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance finance team skills and expertise.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in investment firms, VC/PE-backed companies, or high-growth businesses.
  • Strong track record in FP&A, financial modeling, and cost optimization.
  • Hands-on experience in contract negotiations and conflict resolution.
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance preferred.
