Job Title: Cisco ACI Network Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to design, implement and support Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions using Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy SDN solutions based on Cisco ACI fabric.
  • Configure APIC, leaf/spine switches, policies, contracts, EPGs and tenants in ACI.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize ACI deployments and fabric connectivity.
  • Integrate ACI with third-party systems such as VMware vCenter, firewalls and monitoring tools.
  • Manage data center migrations and network transformations to ACI architecture.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and runbooks for ACI-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with security and cloud teams to ensure policy enforcement.
  • Assist in network automation using tools like Ansible and Python scripting for ACI API.
  • Monitor and resolve network issues and incidents via ITIL processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, APIC and fabric components.
  • Good understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN and MPLS.
  • Familiarity with Nexus 9000 series switches in NX-OS/ACI mode.
  • Experience in integrating ACI with VMware vDS and vCenter.
  • Understanding of multitenancy, VRF, BD, EPG and contracts in ACI.
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Python, REST API and Ansible.
  • Network monitoring tools like Cisco DCNM and SolarWinds.

Preferrred Qualifications:

  • Cisco certifications preferred: CCNP Data Center, CCIE Data Center.
  • 5-10 years of experience in enterprise networking and 3+ years in Cisco ACI.
