Service Engineering Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Service Engineering Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting technical experts in solving Service Now tasks, focusing on main bearing related tasks.

You will be working closely with the MSE team to author owned documents in Teamcenter and Windchill. This includes creating and maintaining failed component information, updating management about new potential serial defects, and identifying and reporting potential serial issues.

As a Service Engineering Specialist, you will also be responsible for evaluating risk potential, budget, and schedule necessary activities for major non-conformities. You will support local business units in developing sustainable solutions for mechanical problems and define, implement, and obtain service processes for mechanical assemblies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting technical experts in solving Service Now tasks, focusing on main bearing related tasks.
  • Authoring MSE owned documents in Teamcenter and Windchill.
  • Creating and maintaining failed component information.
  • Updating management about new potential serial defects.
  • Identifying and reporting potential serial issues.
  • Evaluating risk potential, budget, and schedule necessary activities for major non-conformities.
  • Supporting local business units in developing sustainable solutions for mechanical problems.
  • Defining, implementing, and obtaining service processes for mechanical assemblies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Mechanical drive trains and roller bearings.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills in Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with task prioritization ability.
  • Good stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding technical background.

  • Knowledgeable in Teamcenter PLM, Windchill PLM, SAP, and troubleshooting.

  • Adaptable to change and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
