We're seeking an experienced developer to join our data visualization team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for building interactive and accessible data visualizations that bring learning to life.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading K–12 data literacy company, empowering students and educators with interactive data tools. We design engaging learning experiences that make data meaningful for all learners.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Build accessible, interactive data visualizations using React, Raphael JS, and SVG, aligned with accessibility standards.
  • Maintain clean, semantic code across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Conduct thorough accessibility testing (automated tools and manual testing).
  • Collaborate with design teams to create visually engaging and fully usable tools.
  • Document accessibility practices and maintain consistent guidelines.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of front-end development experience, ideally with visualization tools.
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Proficiency in Raphael JS and SVG for building data visualizations.
  • Solid understanding of accessibility standards.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Bonus Points For
  • Experience with user research or usability testing for data visualization.
  • Familiarity with additional data visualization frameworks/libraries.
  • Contributions to open-source accessibility efforts or active involvement in related communities.
