Lead Quality Assurance Engineer Job Summary:

This leadership role involves overseeing the quality assurance process to ensure products meet the highest standards of excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include mentoring junior QA engineers, designing and implementing test automation strategies, establishing and maintaining QA processes across various platforms, managing test environments and coordinating testing activities across platforms, creating and maintaining detailed test documentation and reporting, and collaborating with product and development teams to integrate quality into every stage of development.

Requirements for this position include an MSc/BSc in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience, 5+ years in QA with at least 2 years in a leadership role, hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium and BrowserStack, strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript, experience testing Web (React), Mobile (Flutter) and Backend (Elixir/NodeJS), performance testing experience with JMeter, K6 or similar, solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, API testing and database testing, excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally, experience working in startups and remote teams, self-driven, organized and proactive.
