Senior Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, with expertise in Python and Selenium.

About the Role:

The Senior Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing automated test scripts using Selenium with Python (BDD frameworks like SpecFlow / Python Behave). They will also perform end-to-end testing of web applications, REST APIs, and integration projects in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Python.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of web applications, REST APIs, and integration projects.
  • Design and execute detailed functional test cases for complex requirements.
  • Covering Product Test, Integration Test, Technical Test, and Deployment Test.
  • Manage defect lifecycle and ensure quality deliverables within timelines.
  • Identify process improvements and optimization opportunities in QA delivery.
  • Ensure test delivery assurance while complying with standard tools and frameworks.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear test updates and risk reporting.
  • Work proactively in ambiguous/uncertain environments, managing risks effectively.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 7+ years of QA experience (minimum 4+ years in Selenium BDD framework).
  • Strong expertise in Python for automation testing.
  • Hands-on in Selenium WebDriver, BDD (SpecFlow / Behave).
  • QA automation for Web Applications, Web Services, REST APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and manual testing practices.
  • Skilled in test case design, execution (manual + automation), and QA methodologies.
