Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our team at Hirecarepro. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks for both mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications.

  • Automation Frameworks: Develop and maintain automation frameworks for mobile and web applications using Playwright or Cypress.
  • Mobile Automation Tests: Create scalable mobile automation tests using Appium or native mobile tools.
  • Clean Code: Write clean, maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • BDD Scenarios: Implement BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin if required.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
  • API Testing: Conduct API and integration test automation using relevant tools.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop automation frameworks for mobile and web applications.
  2. Create scalable mobile automation tests using Appium or native mobile tools.
  3. Write clean, maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  4. Implement BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin if required.
  5. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
  6. Conduct API and integration test automation using relevant tools.
Requirements:
  1. Automation Expertise: 4+ years of experience building automation frameworks with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  2. Playwright/Cypress: Hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  3. Mobile Automation: Solid experience in mobile automation, preferably using Appium or equivalent tool.
  4. Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of testing methodologies: functional, regression, smoke, integration.
  5. BDD Scenarios: Proficient in writing BDD scenarios if tech stack includes Gherkin/Cucumber.
  6. CI/CD Pipelines: Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  7. API Testing Tools: Solid knowledge of REST API testing tools like Postman, JMeter, etc.
  8. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work in Agile teams.
  9. Problem-Solving: Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
