Job Title: Salesforce Technical Architect

In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders to design and implement innovative technical solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

You will be responsible for supporting the full implementation lifecycle, from prioritizing to deployment, in an ecosystem consisting of multiple clients and partners. You must have a comprehensive understanding of cloud-computing principles and be able to efficiently design and build industry-specific Vlocity Telecommunication, Healthcare, and Financial Services solutions using Salesforce.

A key aspect of this role is collaboration with internal team members to help customers increase the value of their Salesforce Industry products and services. You will also be responsible for designing ground-breaking technical solutions and working directly with customers to meet their business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Delivery Managers, Functional Solution Architects, and clients to devise technology solutions to meet client needs and ensure software products are used accurately and maintained easily.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to help customers increase the value of their Salesforce Industry products and services.
  • Design ground-breaking technical solutions and work directly with customers to meet their business requirements.
  • Lead and mentor development and QA teams on projects.
  • Develop and support Salesforce-related projects.
  • Ensure systems accurately meet defined business expectations and proper testing is implemented.
  • Create and deliver CRMs and workflow solutions using Salesforce/Apex, Force, Visualforce, and J2EE technologies.
  • Advocate and implement standard process development methodology to drive quality delivery of enterprise solutions.
  • Contribute to overall knowledge base and expertise of the community.

To be successful in this role, you must have 10+ years of experience in developing technology solutions and 2+ years of experience handling client-facing projects in positions of increasing responsibility in the context of systems development and related business consulting. Strong Industries background and demonstrated ability in Telecommunication/Media, Financial Services, and Healthcare are also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with configuration, customization, and programming with APEX APIs, Apex Triggers, and implementing new instances from scratch.
  • Strong practical deployment knowledge of VisualForce, Flex, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, Apex Web services, API, AppExchange deployment, and controls.
  • Ability to define system landscapes, identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver CRM solutions.
  • Additional experience includes Workflow Alerts and Actions, and Approval Workflow.
  • Leadership skills, ability to work independently, self-starter mentality, and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
