Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Position Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team.

  • This is a highly visible and challenging role requiring expertise in test automation, software development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Description

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Develop Automated Test Suites: Utilize Selenium WebDriver and related frameworks to create efficient, scalable, and maintainable automated test suites for high-quality products.
  2. Contribute to Mobile and Web Automation: Work with Appium and Playwright (good to have) to cater to diverse testing needs.
  3. Perform API Testing: Validate product functionality using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.
  4. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Define testing strategies and ensure product quality through continuous integration and delivery.
  5. Integrate Automation Suites into CI/CD Pipelines: Seamlessly deploy and monitor automation suites.
  6. Report and Track Defects: Drive resolution with development teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
  7. Enhance Frameworks for Reusability and Scalability: Optimize testing efficiency by continuously enhancing frameworks.
  8. Promote Strong Values: Drive business success through innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Requirements

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5-7 Years of Experience in Test Automation: Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, Python, JavaScript, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Hands-on Experience: API testing, mobile automation with Appium, and modern web automation with Playwright.
  • Knowledge of Typescript and WebDriver.IO: Efficient testing.
  • Version Control and CI/CD Tools: Git and Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
  • Agile Methodologies: Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Analytical, Debugging, and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Communication and Teamwork Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
