Job Title: Global Trade Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Trade Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating with the sales team and planning shipments based on customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with sales team to plan shipments, ensuring timely delivery and optimal logistics management.

  • Check daily stock levels and prepare daily invoicing plans to maintain accurate financial records.

  • Prepare pre- and post-export documents, including certificates of origin and commercial invoices, in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate with manufacturing sites for shipment movement, ensuring seamless execution and minimizing delays.

  • Verify post-shipment documents and submit them to banks within stipulated time frames to ensure smooth financial transactions.

  • Negotiate with Freight Forwarders for freight rates, aiming to reduce costs and improve service quality.

  • Coordinate with Freight Forwarders, Transporters, and Custom Brokers for efficient shipment execution.

  • Inform customers about shipment status and any changes or updates.

  • Handle customer queries and audit-related inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Maintain knowledge of LCL and FCL shipments, as well as document preparation under Letter of Credit and LC Clause.

  • Work proficiently with ERP systems (TCS ION/SAP HANA) to manage data efficiently.

  • Prepare Certificate of Origin/GSP, Insurance certificate, and bank realization certificates as required.

  • Liaise with shipping companies and Custom Brokers to resolve any issues or concerns.

  • Compile MIS reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Verify and close IDPMS and EDPMS open transactions to maintain accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in any field.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in export coordination at an executive level.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
