Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead and manage the end-to-end testing strategy, planning, and execution for core banking implementation projects. This role ensures delivery of high-quality solutions by managing testing teams, defining test strategies, overseeing execution, and ensuring compliance with project timelines, industry standards.

This includes defining, planning, and managing the end-to-end testing strategy for core banking implementation projects. The role also involves leading testing teams across different test phases, collaborating with business, development, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage, reviewing and approving test plans, test cases, and scenarios to validate business requirements and system design, ensuring effective defect management, root cause analysis, and closure within agreed timelines, providing test progress reporting, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation plans, ensuring adherence to software development lifecycle, quality assurance processes, compliance standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate/Postgraduate with 12+ years of experience in IT Testing, including at least 6–8 years in core banking testing projects.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale testing programs in core banking.
  • Hands-on experience in test strategy design, effort estimation, resource planning, and test execution.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations and modules such as Core Banking, Payments, Loans, Trade Finance, and General Ledger.
  • Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, APIs, REST APIs, microservices, and batch processing.
  • Familiarity with automation tools for functional and performance testing.
