We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to contribute to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster collaboration with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Translate product needs into effective test scenarios and cases.
  • Participate in requirement discussions to drive actionable test strategies.
  • Lead clarification of requirements and data dependencies independently.
  • Work closely with development and product teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to test planning for new features and enhancements.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • Exposure to automation frameworks is beneficial.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity in requirements and data dependencies.
  • Perform functional automation, assist with unit testing, API testing, security testing, DevOps, and performance testing activities.
  • Identify ways end-users will work with the software and create an optimal user experience by highlighting areas needing adjustment.
  • Perform performance, functional, and regression testing.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate test reports.
  • Mentor the team in automation design, best practices, and implementation.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of SDET experience, strong understanding of trade life cycles, and related financial processes testing. The candidate should be able to lead requirement discussions and derive test cases independently.

Requirements:
  • Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and other relevant languages.
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as JUnit, SoapUI, Postman, Selenium, TestNG, Jest, Rest Assured, Cucumber, and Agile Methodologies (Jira, Azure Boards, Bitbucket, Git).
  • Experience in testing REST APIs and messaging solutions like Solace, MQ, Kafka, relational/NoSQL database concepts.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Candidates with framework ownership, test strategy, and mentoring juniors will be given preference.
