Job Title: Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

  • Skillful Quality Assurance Professional sought for a challenging role in supplier management.

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead audits, drive quality improvement initiatives, and build strong partnerships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for managing supplier quality assurance, supplier development, and compliance in regulated industries.
  • Lead the selection and approval of suppliers based on regulatory standards such as FDA, EMA, ISO 13485, ICH Q10, and GMP.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee corrective actions and root cause analysis for supplier-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier-related problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support new product development by ensuring supplier capability for components, raw materials, and services.
  • Evaluate the impact of supplier changes on product quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Train and mentor internal teams and suppliers on quality systems and compliance expectations.

Core Competencies & Skills:

  • Proven expertise in supplier quality management, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems including GMP, GDP, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485.
  • Proficiency in risk management, root cause analysis, and CAPA methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead strategic quality initiatives and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in global supplier management and multicultural environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in supplier quality assurance, preferably in pharma/medical devices/regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001/13485, GMP, or equivalent) is preferred.

Successful candidate will possess a proven track record of managing global suppliers and delivering measurable quality improvements.
