Job Title: System Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced System Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the stability of our infrastructure, identifying and resolving technical issues, and providing excellent customer support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Monitoring
  • Regularly monitor CPU, memory, hard disk size, log size, and other vital server parameters to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Issue Reporting
  • Report any performance issues or errors to the appropriate teams in a timely manner.
  • Scheduled Tasks
  • Monitor scheduled tasks on the system and ensure their successful completion.
  • Error Resolution
  • Rerun failed tasks and report any technical errors to the L2/L3 teams for resolution.
  • Customer Communication
  • Monitor email, Teams channel, and ticketing system for new items/tickets and update them with initial responses.
  • Ticket Management
  • Gather more details from business/end-user teams if required and reproduce issues in the testing environment.
  • Validation
  • Validate issue fixes in the internal testing environment based on customer inputs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles with strong technical background.
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Java, scripting, and relevant technologies.
  • Communication Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in handling customer-related queries.
