About the Role:

  • This position is responsible for leading the design, planning, and construction of marine infrastructure including breakwaters, jetties, quay walls, and docks for major port projects.
  • The successful candidate will provide expertise in coastal and marine engineering to optimize the performance, stability, and sustainability of port infrastructure in challenging coastal environments.
  • Advanced structural and geotechnical assessments will be conducted to ensure the long-term durability and stability of marine structures under varying tidal and wave conditions.
  • Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams is essential for the successful execution of marine construction works.
  • Evaluation of environmental impacts on the coastal ecosystem and development of solutions to minimize these impacts are key responsibilities.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in marine structures design, construction, and project execution is required.
  • A postgraduate degree in Marine Structures or equivalent, with a strong academic foundation in coastal and marine engineering principles, is essential.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in coastal or marine construction, working on breakwater systems, jetties, seawalls, and other port infrastructure, is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering), M.Tech or M.Sc. (Marine Structures) qualifications are preferred.
  • Experience in working on port development projects or coastal infrastructure projects in similar regions is an advantage.
