Eye Care Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Eye Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye conditions.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses or treatments as necessary.
  • Diagnose and manage eye conditions, providing appropriate referrals or treatment plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Optometry or related field.
  • Current license to practice optometry in state.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Environment:

The Eye Care Specialist will work closely with dispensing opticians and sales associates to ensure customers receive the right products and services based on their prescription and lifestyle needs.

Our office is located in a busy shopping district, with ample parking and easy access to public transportation.

Working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional weekends and evenings required.

The Eye Care Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, adhering to industry standards and best practices, and participating in ongoing training and professional development.

Customer Education & Counseling:

Educate customers on eye health, proper lens usage, and preventive eye care measures. Provide personalized advice and recommendations to customers on how to maintain good eye health and prevent common eye issues.

Education and Training:

Develop and implement educational programs and workshops to educate customers on eye health and prevention of eye diseases. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive eye care services.

Performance Metrics:

Measure and evaluate customer satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency. Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
