Eye Care Specialist

Job Description:

  • The Eye Care Specialist is expected to provide exceptional patient care by greeting and welcoming all walk-in customers, guiding them toward the clinic, and promoting free eye check-ups.
  • Based on the eye test and customer preferences, the specialist will share requirements with sales associates or store managers to present customers with optimal product selections.
  • During eye checks, specialists are expected to thoroughly explain processes and durations to customers, using this opportunity to build rapport and convert check-ups into sales.
  • After the eye check-up, the specialist will clearly share prescriptions and educate customers about single vision and progressive lenses, recommending suitable options.
  • The Eye Care Specialist must achieve assigned targets for sales, eye-check conversions, and returns while diligently following all assigned Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Post-sales, specialists are responsible for coordinating product pickups with customers after receiving warehouse communication. They must verify lens accuracy before handing over products and resolve return reasons to minimize return percentages.
  • Specialists will be involved in stocktakes, maintaining sales floor standards, and performing day-to-day tasks to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • They are also expected to maintain Lenskart's hygiene standards within the store, including displays, frames, instruments, and equipment, by cleaning them regularly.
  • Finally, specialists must ensure the security of all Lenskart equipment.

  • Strong knowledge of eye care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
