Technical Service Representative

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Sealed Air Corporation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Strong Customer Relationships - Leverage a consultative approach to build trust with customers, understand their needs and challenges, and provide solutions to enhance their food packaging operations.
- Grow Sales Opportunities - Collaborate with the sales team to identify additional packaging solution opportunities in existing accounts, sell additional service agreements, spare parts, and related items, and prepare quotations.
- Demonstrate Solutions Knowledge - Clearly articulate the full suite of Sealed Air Solutions, including Food Packaging Systems, Protective Packaging Systems, Automated Packaging Systems, and Strategic Fulfillment Solutions, to end-users.
- Account Development - Convert existing customer relationships into strong partnerships across all product lines, manage account development across existing customers, and allow the sales team to focus on new business and markets.
- Install and Train Packaging Systems - Install packaging systems at customer locations, train operators on packaging processes, system capabilities, and safety procedures, and answer customer questions related to equipment, health, safety, and environment.
- Service and Maintain Packaging Systems - Repair and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, help identify potential issues, recommend improved policies and procedures, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Administrative Duties and Internal Collaboration - Complete CRM documentation, inventory tracking, problem tracking, travel and expense reports, and other required documentation, and liaise closely with Customer Service on issues such as customer information, product details, pricing, and order processing.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree or 5 years of technical experience with a high level of mechanical/pneumatic and troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and troubleshooting charts.
- Past experience handling Food Packaging Equipment for the food manufacturing/meat processing industry is highly preferred.
- Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills, strong persuasion/influencing skills, and ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-making.
- Ability to work across teams and navigate complex environments, goal-focused, deadline-driven, results-oriented, self-starter, coachable, detail-oriented, and strong time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
- Ability to drive and a valid driving license with own vehicle preferred.
- Ability to work overtime.
