Senior BIS Certification Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned BIS Certification Expert to join our team and provide expert guidance on Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification requirements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate the complex BIS certification process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of BIS standards under the ISI Mark Scheme-1, as well as expertise in registration, documentation, product testing, and certification. They will be responsible for providing comprehensive guidance on BIS certification requirements, assisting clients in identifying applicable standards and categories for their products, and facilitating the preparation and submission of BIS applications and required documentation.
A key aspect of this role is the ability to work collaboratively with clients, BIS officials, and internal stakeholders to expedite the certification process. The candidate will also be responsible for tracking and monitoring the status of applications, ensuring timely follow-up and approval.
Additional responsibilities include advising clients on testing and post-certification compliance, providing ongoing support in maintaining compliance, managing renewals, and addressing any regulatory concerns. The successful candidate will also stay up-to-date with changes in BIS regulations, particularly for products under the ISI Mark Scheme-1.
To be considered for this position, applicants should possess a BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering, have 0-2 years of working experience, and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of BIS standards under the ISI Mark Scheme-1. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and excellent communication skills are also essential.
