Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager
Job Description:This role requires a procurement professional with extensive experience in bulk material purchasing, specifically pig iron, scrap, and other steel products.
- Sourcing and procurement of all types of steel materials from OEMs and dealers.
- Knowledge of casting, machining, nitriding, vacuum hardening processes.
- Ability to negotiate with large steel manufacturers for developing desired steel grades and agreements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 14+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- Expertise in forecasting product demand and price analysis.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.
