Costing Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a Costing Engineer to join our team. As a Costing Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining standard costing for all products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the costing model for all products, including BOMs (Bill of Materials) and routings.
  • Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Perform variance analysis (standard vs actual cost) and recommend corrective actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in cost engineering or cost analysis in a manufacturing setup.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, BOMs, ERP systems, MS Excel, and costing software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
