Job Title: Blockchain Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled software engineer with experience in blockchain and distributed systems to join our team. You will play a key role in transforming raw on-chain data into actionable insights by decoding smart contract events and implementing pricing logic from decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys low-level protocol work, understands DeFi mechanics, and can build robust data pipelines that power real-time pricing engines.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop event decoders for major DeFi protocols (e.g., Uniswap, Curve, Balancer).
  2. Build and maintain data extractors that convert on-chain events into structured trade data.
  3. Implement logic to calculate trade prices, including handling swap routing, liquidity pool math, and price inference.
  4. Work closely with data and infra teams to build efficient and scalable data ingestion pipelines.
  5. Optimize performance and accuracy of pricing models (e.g., TWAP, oracle logic, tick-based price resolution).
  6. Write clean, well-tested, and efficient backend code in Go or Rust.
Requirements:
  1. 2–5+ years of backend development experience in Go or Rust.
  2. Strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs.
  3. Experience working with DeFi protocols, especially understanding of AMM math:
  4. Constant product formulas: x * y = k
  5. Uniswap V3 ticks
  6. TWAP / oracle logic
  7. Familiarity with EVM-based chains and Ethereum node infrastructure (e.g., Geth, Erigon, RPC APIs).
  8. Experience building data extraction or indexing tools (e.g., subgraphs, custom indexers).
  9. Ability to work independently and own complex backend systems from design to deployment.
