Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and evaluate mechanical systems and equipment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed designs, specifications, and drawings for mechanical systems and equipment, considering factors such as feasibility, efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools to create and test prototypes.
  • Conduct engineering HVAC and public health calculations and simulations to determine the performance, reliability, and efficiency of mechanical systems.
  • Analyze results and make recommendations for improvements or modifications as required.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or building services engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with proven experience in a similar role working on a variety of projects.
  • Professional license or registration as a senior Mechanical Engineer is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of local regulations and authority requirements, such as DM, ADM, and UAE FIRE CODE.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant international codes and standards, including ASHRAE, CIBSE, BSRIA, SMACNA, DW, NFPA, etc.
