As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be working closely with the engineering team to create mechanical adaptations for electrical distribution equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to carry out design verifications and suggest improvements to ensure fast-track and efficient construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review building installation and layout drawings from suppliers to ensure they align with project specifications, relevant standards, and classifications.
  • Assist other project engineers as needed and support multiple projects and tendering tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers, providing technical designs to customer projects and services teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in an application domain or subdomain.
  • Ability to identify and understand customer technical requirements related to their application domain or subdomain.
  • Application of internal procedures, standards, and best practices in autonomy.
Desirable Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, ProE, Creo, PDM Windchill, and BIM modeling with Revit, Archicad, and AVEVA E3D.
  • Practical knowledge related to engineering drawing and fabrication of sheet metal and bus bar arrangement.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Experience and Education
  • Minimum 7-8 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience in electrical distribution equipment is highly desirable.
Qualifications and Certifications
  • Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
