Senior Gas Turbine Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a skilled professional to design and develop gas turbine combustion and casing components.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced global product development environment, applying mechanical engineering principles to create innovative designs.
Key Responsibilities- Design gas turbine components, including combustion liners, nozzles, transition ducts, fuel piping systems, exit diffusers, and casings.
- Apply tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&T, standards, and design rules to ensure robust designs.
- Collaborate with FEA analysts, HT engineers, and aero-designers to create and finalize design concepts.
- Perform technical checks of engineering drawings, PMI, and BOM of gas turbine components.
- Develop innovative solutions and control risks using methods like FMEA and QFD.
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in mechanical engineering design from a recognized institution.
- At least 7-10 years of work experience in mechanical design in an engineering organization.
- Experience in gas turbine combustion component design preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design, strength of materials, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and manufacturing assembly fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with CAD software, UG-NX preferred, and experience with SAP, PLM, CPD Teamcenter, and MS Office.
