Job Title: Senior Associate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle trademark applications, including prosecution and oppositions.
  • Manage client portfolios, including docketing and follow-ups.
  • Conduct trademark searches and provide expert opinions.
  • Offer advice on contentious trademark matters.
  • Attend hearings for trademark applications and oppositions.
  • Follow up with registries for requests in pre- and post-registration stages.
  • Provide strategic guidance on portfolio management.
  • Address non-contentious trademark issues.

Additional Expertise:

  • Domain dispute resolution, UDRP/INDRP complaints, and cybersquatting cases.
  • Providing expert opinions on domain disputes, cybercrime involving trademarks, and cybersquatting.
  • Attending official hearings for trademark disputes involving rectification/cancellation actions and appeals.
  • Court proceedings related to infringement and passing off.
  • Conducting raids, search, and seizure operations.
  • Prosecuting design and copyright registration, and providing expert opinions on disputes involving copyrights and designs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in trademark law and practice.
  • Strong knowledge of trademark laws and regulations.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
