We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our engineering efforts. As Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction and platform execution of our agentic AI platform.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires ownership of the architecture and development of our agentic AI platform. You will design scalable, reliable backend infrastructure that powers automation workflows, lead and mentor a high-performing, distributed engineering team, and collaborate closely with product, operations, and implementation teams to deliver into real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating closely with product, operations, and implementation teams to deliver into real-world hospital environments.
  • Driving technical execution across short-term priorities and long-term strategic initiatives.

  • Contributing to company-wide decisions as a core member of the leadership team.

Requirements:

  1. 7–10 years of experience in backend, platform, or systems engineering.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred or equivalent real-world experience).
  3. Deep experience with Python or comparable backend languages in production environments.
  4. Proven track record designing and scaling complex systems and APIs.
  5. Experience leading engineering teams or projects with high accountability and ownership.
  6. Familiarity with data pipelines, distributed systems, and workflow orchestration.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make architecture decisions under ambiguity.
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  9. Startup experience or mindset - adaptable, resourceful, and focused on outcomes.
  10. Preferred: background in automation, agent-based systems, healthcare technology, or AI/ML infrastructure.
