Software Quality Assurance Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance (SQA) professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

The SQA engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing test strategies, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines. This role requires close collaboration with development teams to identify, track, and resolve issues while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test plans, cases, and automation frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, performance, and security testing.
  • Conduct regression, exploratory, and usability testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, collaborating with developers for resolution.
  • Create and maintain documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  • Ensure compliance with security and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO).
  • Provide test reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Strong experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and performance testing frameworks (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
