This role offers a unique chance to leverage your skills and experience in IT sales, specifically in government account sales of cloud and data center services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business development opportunities, driving lead generation efforts, creating pitches and proposals, and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifying new business opportunities in government/PSU and large enterprises
  • Driving lead generation efforts and new client acquisition through various channels
  • Creating pitches and proposals, including requirements gathering for successful conversion of leads
  • Understanding and analyzing business & technical requirements from clients
  • Conducting introductory calls and following up with clients both online and offline
  • Responsible for Revenue generation from Government Sales vertical
  • Initiating and cultivating high-level client relationships with key decision-makers to build a trusted partnership
  • Maintaining a watching brief on developments within customer's organisation which may affect future business
  • Relationship management with existing and potential clients
  • Networking to gain potential leads
Requirements:
  • A minimum 5+ years of experience in IT sales in Government Account selling cloud and data center services, public/private cloud services
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, IT, marketing, business, or a related field from a reputable institute
  • Solid understanding of cloud services like Azure/AWS/GCP, cloud firewalls, cloud data storage, cloud storage, data sharing related technologies
  • Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented individual with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS office and related applications
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
