We are currently seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to apply their knowledge of cost accounting principles in a real-world setting.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of costing, budgeting, and management information systems (MIS). They should be able to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive business growth.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in product costing, variance analysis, and cost control activities
  • Support preparation of monthly MIS reports, cost sheets, and management dashboards
  • Help in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning reports
  • Work closely with the procurement and production teams to monitor cost drivers
  • Maintain and analyze data for cost audits and internal controls
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and standards
  • Assist in internal audit processes and help in identifying process improvements
  • Reconcile cost accounts with financial accounts on a periodic basis
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to inventory valuation and consumption analysis
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather and validate financial data

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, and budgeting concepts
  • Good command of Excel, Tally, and ERP software (SAP preferred)
  • Ability to analyze financial data and present insights clearly
  • Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS) and GST (basic level)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

Educational Qualification:

  • CMA Qualified (Institute of Cost Accountants of India)
  • Candidates who have completed CMA Inter with experience may also be considered
