Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice/Service Engineer.

About the Role:

  • This role involves assisting in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • You will support senior engineers in conducting routine checkups and preventive maintenance.
  • Responsibilities include understanding mechanical drawings and schematics for troubleshooting issues.
  • You will conduct basic fault finding and diagnosis under supervision.
  • Maintaining proper documentation of service activities and reports is also a key aspect of this role.
  • On-site support for customer equipment setup or repairs is also required.
  • You must ensure compliance with safety procedures during fieldwork and workshop tasks.
  • Working with tools and precision instruments under guidance is another important responsibility.
Requirements:
  • You should have basic knowledge of mechanical tools and instruments.
  • A willingness to travel and work on-site at customer locations is essential.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills are also required.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to industrial environments is vital.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and follow instructions is a necessary skill.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ITI / Diploma holders with hands-on workshop training are preferred.
  • Candidates from Indo-German Tool Room or equivalent reputed institutes are also preferred.
  • Candidates with exposure to industrial automation or mechatronics (for B.E. background) are highly valued.
  • Machine Maintenance (both preventive and breakdown), Field service and repairs, installation and commissioning of equipment are key areas of expertise.
  • ITI Fitter or ITI Mechanic (or relevant ITI Mechanical Field) /Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and Megatronics(Indo German Tool)
