Job Title: Operational Risk SpecialistAbout the Role

This position is a fast-paced and dynamic role within the Fixed Income Division's Operations Risk team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various activities including operational risk incident reporting, business continuity planning, risk and control self-assessment, control testing and validation, and monitoring of various committees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with data collection, compilation, and system extracts to maintain accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with seniors to raise access and entitlement requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to specified procedures for different applications throughout the day to meet established service level agreements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date procedures database for reference purposes.
  • Assist with data extracts, comparison, gathering materials as required for Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) / CILA Controls/ ORI events.
  • Follow up on triggers and close issues related to the FID Ops Risk system in a timely manner.
  • Perform and execute the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for the Fixed Income Division globally, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Closely monitor Front line errors/Ops Risk incidents and record them appropriately in TIRED and RECAP systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Business Continuity Planning for FID vertical, drawing out testing plans.
  • Compile operational risk committee decks (global).
  • Validate control triggers and closely monitor key controls to ensure effective risk management.
  • Raise report enhancement requests in relevant forums.
  • Collaborate with seniors to ensure SOPs/processes are in place for the team, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
